New Belgium Brewing Company's 'The Joy Ride', marks Fat Tires 20th Anniversary. My artwork was turned into a poster coaster with my Joy Ride on the back.

"Bikes and art both take me places adventurous and imaginative. Both provide an aesthetic bliss that breaks us free from the daily grind. Characteristic of a cold Fat Tire.
Simply put, Fat Tire is art in a glass.
An idea that tastes as good as it looks and represents the dreams of the good life we all want nucleating around us."

I have a new sketch book that might help me remember back to my school days and my professional note taking skills that involved NO words at all. The sketches I did on lined paper seemed to force myself outside the lines, beyond the lectures. Lectures not worth remembering. I don't really know if the lines make the drawings better or worse, however, my aesthetic experiment is a success. I have more awesome ideas to take note on and less lectures to pay attention too.

After climbing on the Bastille Crack in Eldorado Canyon on Tuesday (6.9.09), a whole world of inspiration opened its doors for climbing art. Its been a while since I've climbed due to injury, however, the opportunity has returned. After waiting out rain, hail, lightening and thunder, blue skies presented themselves for us to pursue on this beautiful classic climb.

For those that don't understand why I was in Europe besides it just being a magical old place we all should visit at least once in our lives. As an employee of New Belgium Brewing Company, after 5 years, Kim and Jeff take you to Belgium to explore the roots of where Jeff's beer dream came from. Riding his bike across Belgium, exploring breweries. In one weeks time we visited many breweries and even did some bottling at Fantom. Belgium BrewMASTER Peter Bouckaert lead us on a most excellent and memorable trip that will be remembered forever.
You're the MAN, Peter!!!!!!!
This is a quick sketch in Brugge of the Canal Rozenhoedkaai from Huidevettersplein. I will have many more pieces to show in the future from my impressions of Belgium.
